This full-scale dress rehearsal for winter makes me think better of the lifestyle one of my mobility-impaired friends has, staying inside her warm condo and having all her groceries delivered, including alcohol. And if I'm willing to do that, I might as well have knee replacement now.

But of course I'm not willing to do that. Optimistically, I think maybe I can stretch out my hip flexors, IT band, quads and everything else that had me limping today. It's at least better than thinking a year's exercise and strengthening has been completely pointless.

It appears a snow plow did a run over some of the sidewalks last night. Alas, this served only to flatten the snow enough that it turned into ice this morning.
