My finger returned about 11 o'clock last night. And, well, there it was. And in spite of puckered skin and really gross-looking black thread stitches, there it still is-- feeling, if truth be told, no more uncomfortable than when I had an enlarged ganglion in the spot.

Why exactly I was offered a choice of tylenol-3s or percocet for follow-up I truly don't know. Doubtless percocet is useful stuff to have should fearful agony ever descend in future, but mostly I'm thinking What a waste of fifteen dollars.
