Hibernation sweeps the nation

To bed at 10:15 last night; finally up at 8:30. Impossible to pull me from my flannel nest these days. Not sure if the somnolence is a result of exercise (walking to and from work), or reaction to January's cold and damp, or an on-going illness of some sort (head and gut have been alike unhappy), or newly-acquired SAD, or all of the above. I will only say, I had a Vietnamese coffee at dinner, which should be good for 'awake till 4 am'-- and am now yawning.

Fortunately there's a weekend between me and an 8:45 dentist appointment on Tuesday. And tomorrow maybe the sun will shine.
