I wonder what else can transpire on the one day left of this plague-struck pest-blighted and salt-strown week? Today's crisis, which was the same as all the other crises this week, involved people falling ill at the worst possible time, and by a complicated process then involved me getting a tooth filled without freezing because I didn't have time for the freezing before I had to hare off to be two people simultaneously. Special, that was.

But amidst the chorus of low-grade disaster, a happy birthday to deepfryerfire. May this year be much much better than the last, not that that's hard. (Also you wouldn't believe how many daycare birthday we've celebrated this week: it's like come May, no one can keep it in their pants.)
