Got to the super before the severe thunderstorms rolled in. After several months of 'walk on in' they're back to lineups, and no exceptions for ancient ladies with walkers. Thus delta variants, I assume.

The cake department and the cookie bin and the boxed sandwiches always sing to me when I'm there. I have a feeling it's the sandwiches that are the real danger, but the cookies are a bad idea as well. Fortunately they have paleo cookies at heart-stopping prices, and the almond flour cinnamon ones are only 210 calories. When dinner is a green salad with grapefruit&mustard dressing, and a boiled egg, I figure a paleo cookie won't kill me.
