Someone called me at 8:15 this morning and hung up after two rings. Which was enough to guarantee that I wasn't going to be able to go back to sleep, and thus I have been heavy-eyed all day.

Had two very civil cabbies today, one of whom opened the doors for poor crippled me coming and going. Which was nice except COVID, and he didn't have a barrier between the front and back seats as the more careful drivers do, and he kept the windows closed. Which at -13C is maybe understandable but still, my first driver did. And yes he was masked and I was double-masked, but still, still. So following someone's suggestion I used a saline rinse on the nose when I got home and hope to remain safe.
