Was congratulating myself on how effective my hour of stretch and strengthen was. Then I got out of bed today. This is why I postpone getting out of bed, unless it's one of those nights when things hurt too much to stay there. But otherwise, give me the warm floats, the warm feet, the half-dreams and the random memories, over the grey light of day. At least today had some sun to it.

Also half-toying with the idea that maybe the unbudging kludge in the knee is worsened by my bicycle machine. Was convinced of it last week but then had two limber days on the weekend. Shall keep on with it anyway because it's the only exercise I get. And have worked my way up to 40 minutes through reading New Yorkers, but boy are the New Yorker articles a downer. Yesterday was the perils of money grubbing venture capitalists, today is planned homelessness in southern California where houses sit empty but no PoC can afford to buy them. Next up is courts deciding against parents- mothers, usually- who try to leave their ultra-ultraOrthodox marriages. I was never sanguine about the American Way of Life, and now I'm despairing.
